Your journey with us

Good advice, implemented is a strong foundation.

But life rarely stands still, so best results are achieved by regularly reviewing the results of that advice, in the context of clients’ naturally changing circumstances.

Whether that is monitoring investment performance or progress against an agreed cashflow plan, regular update meetings allow for discussion of and tweaks to a longer term agreed strategy.

Typically, these reviews will occur once or twice a year but are always available on an ad hoc basis.

Introduction

In this critical first step, you’ll share your plans for the future, financial aspirations and any concerns. This is where we start to really get to know you and your circumstances, so we can  begin formulating a plan to achieve your stated aims and any others we have agreed through our discussions.  This meeting is completely free of charge and obligation.

2

Proposition

Following your initial meeting, we  provide a written summary of the areas discussed and our proposals for the advice required (both on an initial and ongoing basis), fully costed for the recommended actions.

3

Research

With your authority, we will contact your existing providers and, armed with insights from your initial meeting, consider the best options for your needs and objectives.  This meticulous approach takes advantage of our team’s expertise and independent status.

4

Advice

The output of the research will be provided to you in a formal report that will outline our findings, proposed strategies, and the rationale behind each recommendation. We will also invite you to a meeting to discuss our expert recommendations in full, outline how they meet your objectives and answer any questions you may have.

5

Implementation

Our team will then initiate all the agreed strategies, liaising with relevant third parties and overseeing the necessary paperwork.  The actions taken will be confirmed in writing to you on completion and we will agree a date from which to commence our ongoing oversight.

6

Measurable Progress

With your plan in place, we will monitor your policies and investments on an ongoing basis to ensure they continue to move you closer to your agreed goals. We will summarise this in our regular review reports to you. These are provided at least annually, and include an overview of investment performance, tax and legislative alterations that may affect you, and a measure of where you are in respect of your long term financial plan.

We will arrange a review meeting at your convenience to discuss this report, any changes in your circumstances and any necessary actions as a result of these. In between meetings, we’re always at the other end of the phone if you need us.

Services

It’s rare that clients come to us seeking "a financial plan".

More usually, it will be a specific query around a pension, an inheritance or a suggestion from another professional suggesting they seek independent financial advice.
